Love the old coffee/tea pot! I have one similar to this one, only mine is blue. My grandmother gave it to me many years ago. When she passed away a couple years ago, & we were going through her sewing stuff, she had several of these old wooden spools too. I got a few to keep. I love their simplicity....so much better than plastic. Sorry for the story, but your pictures remind me of simpler times.
