Our Christmas Tree

FINALLY!  We have never put up our tree this late!
Now that the girls are older, we've gone back to burning candles all the time!  It makes it feel cozier, especially on snowy days!

Sylaris.  The girls hung about 99% of the ornaments.

Kalam.  My children would keep the tree up year round if we let them!

Fluffing branches.  They take this very seriously.

Santa hats were added!

Sylaris

Kalam.  The best one I took of her alone.  (And I know, it's not a good one of her. lol)

Holiday Colors
There is nothing better than Christmas lights!

Holiday/Winter Icon
My baby girl drew this... The Holiday Icon is Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus around the Christmas tree with an Angel pointing to the star.
A Tree
This ornament belonged to my Great-Grandma.  It never misses a year!

Quiet
My other baby girl.  Quiet.  Not something that happens often.
Favorite Color
I love orange a lot... but I love all the rest of the colors too!

It's Wednesday... here's some stuff.

We are DnD players at our house... here are some tools of the trade.

My daughter loves to draw stories.  This is her version of the birth of Christ.

We had a Holiday Party at our house over the weekend... here is a simple reminder of good food and fun times!

It's Christmas time.... I just can't get in the Christmas mood this year.  Normally by now, our tree is up and most of the presents are bought.   This year the only thing that shows Christmas is coming at our house is this lone ornament.

Pineapple.  Love them.

Black Olives... Love them too!

November Photo Hunt Challenge!

Home Sweet Home - In the town I live in the Fair is a REALLY big deal.
So big that the schools don't start until the fair is over.

Thankful - I am so thankful for my family.

Family - Game of Choice...Uno.  Plus it's the easiest game to pack up and take with us!

I Ate This- Thanksgiving Edition - mmmmmm.... mashed potatoes.  Easily my favorite food!

A Turkey - we had 6 different Thanksgivings this year... whew.  Good thing we all love turkey!
Although I am starting to feel a little picked over for time, kinda like this guy.

Something Hand-Made - Pies, pies and more pies.  I bet I have seen close to 30 pies in the last two weeks.

Something Hot - Breakfast with my husband's father!  He cooked so it tasted even better!

Something Cold - My poor baby.  I told her she needed a warmer coat ...
but I guess some lessons have to be learned the hard way. :D

Something Orange - Yum! Sweet Potato Casserole!

Anything Goes (Any photo you take in November!) - New boots and a new friend.
